Last week a colleague of mine told me that at the hospital where we work there was a black out, and to make things better, the generator caught on fire. For 1/2 hour, while they tried to repair the generators, the medical staff had to work in total darkness. Fortunately it happened at 4 pm and so the sunlight made it easier for everybody except a section in the emergency department (acute care unit) where there are no windows. Everytime i think i've seen it all: machete attacks between 2 neighboors, 4 teeangers being thrown through a store window by a car while walking on the sidewalk, there's something new happening reminding me there are more stupid people out there doing stupid violent things.
